Job Summary
Oversee daily operational activities within assigned units to ensure efficiency, compliance, and adherence to OSHA, NFPA, EPA, NERC, and PUC standards. Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime, monitor machinery performance, and initiate corrective actions while supervising frontline technicians and contractors. Manage timecard approvals, prepare operational reports, identify cost-saving opportunities, and lead root cause analysis for unit-level issues. Directly supervise staff through goal-setting, evaluations, and coaching to support continuous improvement initiatives. Prioritize tasks to meet maintenance schedules while resolving routine operational issues using established procedures. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, minimum two years in O&M, up to 50% travel, and ability to work in extreme environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in O&M
- Working knowledge of technical troubleshooting and equipment operation
- Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of time
- Ability to push/pull/lift tools and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work safely in extreme environments (hot sun, cold, etc.)

Desired Qualifications
- Prior lead or informal supervisory experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree, English major preferred
