Job Summary
TIG weld aluminum and steel parts according to blueprints, symbols, and job orders while inspecting welds for accuracy and performing first and subsequent inspections. Prepare products by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel and aluminum. Change wire and gas tanks as needed, ensure equipment is set up safely, and record accurate time and attendance entries. Maintain flexibility across all production areas and operate measuring devices like calipers. Requires reading blueprints, standing eight hours daily, lifting up to 50 pounds, and passing a TIG welding test. Available for overtime. Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience or training in TIG Welding
- Must pass the TIG welding test
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings & job orders
- Ability to operate measuring devices such as calipers and tape measurers
- Basic computer navigation and data entry skills
- Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
