TIG Welder-Entry (Forrester Dr. Location)

Job Summary
Prepare, arrange, fit, and assemble materials using TIG welding processes, adjusting parameters based on assessment of inputs. Interpret drawings and blueprints to execute production while performing precision measurements with micrometers, calipers, and CMMs. Complete necessary paperwork and computer entries after work orders, utilizing work instructions and fixtures to correctly set up parts. Collaborate in a team environment focused on lean manufacturing, safety, and productivity, taking ownership of compliance and efficiency. Work the 2nd shift (2 PM – 10:30 PM, M-F) and overtime as needed, with occasional weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited welding program OR 0-2 years of industrial welding experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to perform shop math
- Ability to use precision measurement equipment
- Proficiency in TIG (GTAW) welding
- Ability to pass the weld test
- Willingness to work 2nd shift (2 PM – 10:30 PM, M-F)
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to work occasional weekend shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Pass a background check
- Pass a drug screen
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
