Job Summary
Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel components while producing high-quality welds that meet company specifications. Prepare materials, set up equipment, complete plate welds, and inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met. Follow engineering drawings and welding procedures while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Candidates must successfully complete a hands-on weld test including machine setup and plate welding with a quality bead. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Previous TIG (GTAW) welding experience with stainless steel and carbon steel
- Ability to successfully complete a hands-on weld test that includes machine setup, material preparation, and plate welding with a quality bead
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow welding procedures
- Commitment to safety and quality
