Job Summary
The TIG Welder is responsible for set up and welding of products, performing all-position welding on various materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Essential duties include working from prints, using welding fixtures and jigs, and ensuring compliance with all DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental policies. Candidates must have completion of welding education or equivalent experience, and the ability to perform practical welding tests. Regular attendance and teamwork are critical in this fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of welding diploma from an accredited weld school
- Six months industrial weld experience
- Ability to pass blueprint reading test
- Ability to pass practical weld test
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) data collection
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to MIG and TIG weld
- Experience working in a team environment
- Ability to react to change productively
