Job Summary
TIG-MMA Welder needed at Hinkley Point C site in Bridgwater, Somerset. Role involves welding operations to radiographic standards, inspecting equipment, adhering to welding protocols and safety regulations (including fume control), identifying and reporting welding issues, and complying with quality control and documentation. Candidates should have experience welding to radiographic standards, materials including carbon steel and austenitic stainless steel, and hold relevant welding qualifications (TIG and MMA) with ISO 9606 test completions. Suitable applicants typically possess Level 2 or Level 3 diplomas in Welding/Fabrication or an equivalent apprenticeship, and CCNSG Safety Passport. The position offers full-time permanent employment with day or night shifts, competitive ECSA pay rates, enhanced overtime when available, and a generous benefits package within Cavendish Nuclear on the Hinkley Point C project. This role is on-site at the Hinkley Point C site.
