Job Summary

Conduct TIG, MIG, and Arc welding to fabricate and assemble components of food processing machinery. Interpret technical blueprints to guide precise assembly and construction of equipment parts. Assemble various machinery components ensuring alignment and functionality while conducting quality checks against industry standards. Construct, install, and test mechanical and electrical systems, identifying and resolving defects during the assembly process. Safely handle raw materials and finished components while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Requires minimum five years of TIG/MIG welding experience, blueprint reading proficiency, and physical stamina for lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years TIG/MIG welding experience
  • Proficiency in welding techniques and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Welding Certification
  • Degree in Millwright
  • Journeyman Certification
  • Physical strength and endurance
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, bend, kneel, crouch, or reach overhead
  • Good vision
  • Hearing ability
  • Safety awareness and ability to follow safety guidelines
  • Stamina to sustain performance throughout the workday
