Job Summary
Provide Tier 2 support for local area, wide area, customer, and data communications networks by planning security measures, reviewing upgrade requests, and applying IT skills for system analysis and integration. Evaluate COTS applications to ensure interoperable, scalable solutions and validate reusable components for information management designs. Maintain 24x7 coverage in the Network Operations Center, including night shifts from 6pm to 6am four days per week, with weekend and holiday work required. Candidates must hold a TSSCI clearance with polygraph and possess ten years of applicable experience.
Required Qualifications
- hands on troubleshooting and fault isolation of IT business systems
- strong understanding of the OSI model
- configuration of routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, BGP, and LDP
- total of 10 years of applicable experience
- TSSCI clearance
