Job Summary
Tier 3, Engineer 4 leads complex enterprise network activations and oversees architectural design, activation, and troubleshooting of SDN/SDWAN and IP networking for high-visibility customers. The role requires independent technical decision-making, escalation handling, cross-functional coordination with engineering, service delivery, product and operations, and strong customer communication. Responsibilities include provisioning network service configurations (Firewall, NAT/PAT, QoS, DHCP, BGP, WAN/LAN), completing BOMs, performing end-to-end activations, identifying risks and root causes, conducting RCA, testing and turning up new circuits (including uCPE and Wireless Backup), and mentoring junior engineers in a 24x7 production environment. The position emphasizes deep IP routing and switching expertise, problem resolution, documentation, and collaboration with customers and vendor teams to ensure successful service delivery. Education of a Bachelor's Degree is preferred; candidates with equivalent coursework/experience or extensive related professional experience are also considered.
