Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair IT infrastructure by performing general problem solving on diverse software and hardware systems. Conduct weekly site visits to clients in the field for on-site technical support and assistance. Uphold strong customer service by addressing client needs promptly while documenting network changes, configurations, and inventory records. Coordinate user records, security data, and tracking inventory levels to ensure accurate documentation and billing reconciliation. Serve as a primary project member on technology projects with moderate scope, providing guidance on hardware and software acquisitions. Stay updated with current technological developments to maintain currency in the IT field.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the IT field, demonstrating proficiency in system maintenance and troubleshooting
- Must live within commuting distance of Eau Claire, WI
- Working towards or achieved CompTIA+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications
- Experience using a ticketing system
- Knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications
- Ability to provide functional direction to other technical support staff and/or student employees
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Ability to analyze and resolve computer problems efficiently
- Commitment to achieving team goals, including weekly hours, utilization rates, and customer satisfaction targets
- This position requires onsite time at a health care facility
- current Flu vaccinations
- Must be available for On Call as needed
