Job Summary
The Tier 2 Technical Support Engineer is responsible for providing second-level support to English-speaking global customers, resolving pressing technical issues, and enhancing customer experiences. This role requires at least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on network or application security, technical networking expertise in TCP/IP, Linux support, and database management through SQL. Candidates should possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a BS degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Additional skills in Docker/Kubernetes and scripting are desired.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Industry experience in Cyber Security, particularly network security or application security
- Experience with enterprise customer accounts
- Technical networking knowledge in TCP/IP and the application layer
- Technical experience supporting Linux-based products
- Composing SQL queries and working with Databases
- Enjoy working with customers using excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes-based environments
- Experience with Scripting languages (Bash, Python or equivalent)
- Bonus: experience with ServiceNow
