Job Summary
Tier 2 Audio Visual Field Technician responsible for installing and maintaining a wide variety of AV technologies across client sites, troubleshooting issues, and providing daily project updates. Travel up to 70% to support installations, with emphasis on installing AV gear (Crestron, Extron, QSYS, Cisco), managing cables and AV racks to AVIXA standards, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, applying low voltage electrical concepts, and coordinating with project stakeholders. Requires strong communication, customer-facing professionalism, independence in fast-paced environments, and willingness to travel globally. Desirable certifications include AVIXA CTS/CTS-I and OSHA, with 1–3 years of AV/VC experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with AV systems such as Crestron, Extron, QSYS, or Cisco
- Understanding of signal flow and AV rack building to AVIXA standards
- Familiarity with AV industry cabling and connector termination
- Strong sense of urgency and agility in dynamic environments
