TIDE COORDINATOR- TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

Job Summary

Conduct and lead training and developmental activities to enhance staff competency for clerical, clinical, and phlebotomy roles across Galen Medical Group. Create training procedure manuals, guides, educational videos, and course materials while scheduling and coordinating onboarding for new employees. Perform unbiased written competency and skills assessments, troubleshoot technical issues with Electronic Medical Records and practice management systems, and present programs using simulations, group discussions, and videos. Maintain records of training activities, attendance, and assessment results, then assist qualified staff trainers in planning and delivering on-site material.

Required Qualifications

  • Training experience
  • Ability to train clerical, clinical, and phlebotomy roles with Galen Medical Group
  • Conduct oneself in a manner that is professional and representative of the Executive team at Galen Medical Group
  • Working knowledge of clerical, clinical, and phlebotomy roles with Galen Medical Group
  • Understands and abides by OSHA, HIPAA & CLIA standards
  • Expert knowledge in field of practice
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the clinical healthcare facility
  • Ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
  • Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
  • Understand and follow company policies and compliance procedures
  • Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Galen Medical Group's Code of Conduct
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with other team members throughout the organization
  • Adapts to using a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
  • Ability to help design and implement effective training and development
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software
  • At least 5 years' experience working in a medical practice
  • Required Active Certified Medical Assistant
  • Required Active Certified Phlebotomist
  • Active CPR certification
  • Highschool Diploma/GED
  • Experience with medical practice management and electronic medical record systems
  • Skilled in performing all functions required for a medical practice to operate
  • Must be a team player
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Assess patients needs efficiently
  • Perform all duties in compliance with Galen Medical policies, HIPAA, and OSHA standards
  • Requirement to conduct a pre-employment drug screen
