Job Summary
Greet guests, initiate friendly interactions, and provide service excellence that exceeds expectations. Perform accounting procedures for ticket sales, including register opening and closing, managing cash funds, deposits, and credit card balancing to ensure daily revenue accuracy. Utilize the established ticketing system to close sales, answer guest questions, and complete required paperwork timely. Maintain a clean, organized work area and balance duties in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety guidelines and company culture.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year ticket selling experience
- Ability to pass Math test and Typing test (score of 25 wpm or greater)
- Must be able to learn computer, computer scanning equipment, and printer equipment
- Must maintain dependable work attendance and flexibility with assigned work schedules including any required overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to utilize effective communication, problem solving, conflict management and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively with Guests and Hosts using approved communication methods
- Able to comprehend instructions and retain information
- Able to perform duties consistent with creating a safe and secure environment for hosts and guests
- Able to be flexible to handle frequent changes in priorities
- Must display and live out Lead with Love qualities strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture by being patient, kind, humble, respectful, selfless, forgiving, honest, and committed
- Must promote and support a team work environment by cooperating and helping co-workers
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide with accuracy
- Able to move about and react quickly in emergency situations
