Ticket Sales Consultant Intern

Job Summary
Conduct outbound sales calls, emails, and follow-ups to sell season tickets, group outings, and premium seating while generating new leads through community outreach. Deliver exceptional customer service to fans and resolve inquiries promptly, then maintain accurate records in the CRM and assist with sales reporting. Support group sales by coordinating experiences with local businesses and schools, and assist with ticket sales, hospitality events, and promotional activations during home matches and game days. Work 15-25 hours per week with evening, weekend, and game day availability through the 2026-27 season. Collaborate with Marketing and Partnerships teams to execute promotional initiatives and learn professional sports sales best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately 15-25 hours per week
- Expected to work in the office during weekdays
- Evening, weekend, and game day availability required
- Must be available for all LOVB Nebraska home matches, select community events, and promotional appearances
- Internship runs through the 2026-27 LOVB Nebraska season
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Competitive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
- Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone and in person
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Passion for sports, entertainment, or customer service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Willingness to learn CRM software
Desired Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Previous customer service, retail, fundraising, sales, or leadership experience
- Participation in collegiate organizations, athletics, or volunteer activities
- Prior experience working sporting events or live entertainment
