Job Summary
Conduct cash and credit card sales of current day, future date, and future reserve lift tickets, lesson tickets, and equipment rentals using a computer terminal and ticket dispensing machine. Reconcile cash and credit receipts with tickets sold and answer questions regarding all sales and services. May receive additional training for assignments in the Winter Sports School office, Season Pass Sales office, or Telephone Ticket Reservation Service office. This is a non-skiing/non-snowboarding position located in a Winter Resort Area with varied work venues including steep stairways and outdoor sites subject to cold, wet, or sunny conditions. Work days and hours vary with an emphasis on weekends and holidays. Minimum age requirement is 18 years.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words
- Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words
- Ability to recognize similarities and differences between series of numbers
- Ability to print and speak simple sentences
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers
- Ability to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Is consistently at work and on time
- Attends required staff meetings
- Follows instructions
- Responds to management direction
- Takes responsibility for own actions
- Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals
- Completes tasks on time
- Proper footwear
