Job Summary
Coordinate and train lawn and plant health care departments, overseeing the safe application of herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, and fertilizers to turf, trees, and shrubs. Diagnose lawn diseases, map treatment routes, and apply integrated pest management techniques while ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local environmental health and safety laws. Manage inventory systems, order supplies, and maintain equipment for trucks and tools. Schedule daily, weekly, and monthly activities with operations and account managers, communicating job timelines and progress to clients. Assist in estimating, recruiting, hiring, and performance reviews, while upselling existing clients and selling to new leads. Work 45-55 hours per week with a 50-60% billable average, requiring a valid state commercial pesticide applicator license and reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state commercial pesticide applicator license or agricultural/structural certification
- Be willing and able to work 8-10 hours per day, 5-6 days per week
- Pass a pre-employment background and driving record check
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
- Be authorized to work in the United States
