Job Summary
Thrive Counseling Center is hiring for Associate and Fully Licensed Therapists to work with school-age kids, teens, and their families in a private outpatient setting. Key responsibilities include performing direct clinical counseling services, providing evidence-based therapy, maintaining confidentiality and ethics, communicating with the treatment team, timely records and reports, and upholding the Practice's standards. The role requires offering availability during mid/late afternoon-evenings and/or weekends, maintaining a minimum average of 80+ client-hours per month (≈20+ sessions per week), and leveraging approaches such as Play Therapy, Attachment-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, CBT, DBT, and Family Systems Therapy. Preferred candidates will hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling or social work, maintain an active WA license (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, PhD, LCPC), and have 3+ years of related experience, with residency in Washington State or plans to relocate. The practice emphasizes autonomy within a supportive group, competitive compensation starting around $55,000+ per year with potential to grow to $90,000+, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work
- Active, unrestricted license in the State of Washington (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, OR LCPC)
- 3+ years of directly related work experience
- Residing in Washington State or having concrete plans to relocate to WA state
- Availability to provide counseling services during the days/times that our clients can most typically attend sessions (mid/late afternoon-evenings and/or weekend days)
