Job Summary
Drive a box truck to pick up and deliver donated items, including furniture and appliances, while safely loading and unloading goods. Lift and carry heavy objects such as couches, tables, and refrigerators, adhering to all safety protocols and traffic regulations. Interact with donors and staff in a professional, courteous manner. Work full-time hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Chambliss Center for Children Thrift Stores.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to pass a background check
- Valid Driver's License
- Clear driving record
- Professional and courteous attitude
- Reliable
- Work well as part of a team
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for long periods
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items
- Comfortable working in different weather conditions
