Job Summary
The Thrift Processing Associate supports day-to-day back-end operations at the St. Vincent Center, handling donation intake, sorting, processing, pricing, and preparing merchandise for the retail floor. Responsibilities include greeting donors, assisting with donation receiving, processing and pricing merchandise, maintaining product flow to the sales floor, identifying damaged items, ensuring safe and organized work areas, lifting up to 100 pounds, collaborating with staff and volunteers, following safety procedures, and contributing to production goals. This part-time role (28 hours/week, Mon-Sat) requires teamwork, reliability, and effective communication, with wage range $17.13-$17.50 per hour and benefits such as WA Sick Leave and longevity awards. Education and experience requirements emphasize a high school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience; forklift experience and valid WA driver’s license preferred.
