Job Summary
Price, stock, and merchandise display items for sale in the thrift shop to create an inviting and organized shopping experience. Open, close, and ensure the store operates properly during regularly scheduled hours while maintaining high standards of customer service. Greet all customers with a friendly demeanor, answer questions about merchandise, and provide assistance. Maintain accurate receipts of all sales and donations, ensuring daily deposits are completed in a timely manner. Work closely with volunteers, guiding them through shop procedures, office protocols, and safety precautions. Assist in keeping the shop, offices, and bathrooms clean and safe by rotating on a regular schedule. Act independently to perform job duties consistently, supporting our mission of raising funds for patient care and hospice services.
Required Qualifications
- Computer literacy preferred/willingness to learn required
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Retail experience and customer service, preferred
