Job Summary

Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that sparks curiosity and supports children's exploration and discovery. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans promoting cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development while utilizing varied teaching methods to cater to different learning styles. Plan and facilitate stimulating activities including arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and outdoor play to promote holistic growth. Assess children's progress, document observations, and maintain accurate records to inform individualized instruction and communicate with parents. Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to create a cohesive educational experience, ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times. Stay updated on current trends and best practices in early childhood education to continually enhance teaching strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • First aid and CPR certifications
  • Willingness to renew certifications and keep them current as needed

  • Passion for early childhood education

  • Previous experience as a Preschool Teacher
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong foundation in early childhood education principles
  • 45-hour Growth and Development certificate
  • 45-hour Preschool Curriculum certificate
  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Degree in a related field
  • CDA certification
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
