Job Summary
Identify threats and vulnerabilities across company systems and communicate issues to infrastructure, IT, risk, DLP, or affected teams. Work cross-functionally to introduce solutions that patch identified gaps and support IT and cybersecurity operations as needed. Ensure customer and client data protection while staying informed of emerging threats to internal or external software, tools, and technologies. Requires 7+ years in software development, cybersecurity, risk, or infrastructure, with 3+ years in threat modeling and cloud-native experience. Located in Toronto (hybrid), this contract role emphasizes collaboration and remote work capability.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software development, cyber security, risk, infrastructure, or related fields
- 3+ years of experience in a threat modeling
- Experience with a cloud native environment
- Experience with various OS systems and languages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work remotely and collaborate with other teams
