Job Summary
Threat Intelligence Analyst responsible for analyzing signals from the Intelligence Collection Framework to quantify exposure to fraud/financial-crime vectors and to translate indicators into preventative controls and detective rules. Develops defensive rules and behavioral features, maps fraud vectors via kill-chain modeling, and collaborates with Wise cross-functionally to design and implement response strategies and long-term mitigations across the attack lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Analytical Expertise: Significant experience in fraud and/or financial crime analysis
- Strategic Control Deployment: Experience developing counter-fraud strategies and deploying rules/models/features
- Strategic Mindset: Strong threat modeling and risk detection approach
- Technical Data Proficiency: Proficiency with SQL, Python, or similar data science methods
- Communication & Translation: Ability to map end-to-end attacks and communicate to diverse audiences
- Desirable Credentials: Experience with external networks, cyber kill-chain mapping, or certifications (SANS, ACAMS, ACFE, ICA) is advantageous
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with external networks (industry trust groups, public-private partnerships, or law enforcement) is advantageous but not required
- SANS training, ACAMS, ACFE, or ICA certifications are highly advantageous
