Job Summary

Lead complex cyber threat intelligence investigations involving ransomware, nation-state actors, and emerging vulnerabilities to produce tactical, operational, and strategic assessments for the global financial sector. Collect, correlate, and analyze intelligence from diverse sources while mapping adversary tactics to frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK. Author executive briefings, white papers, and alerts; present findings to leadership and external partners. Mentor junior analysts, drive information-sharing initiatives, and leverage AI tools to enhance analysis and innovation. Represent the organization at industry forums and build relationships with financial institutions and government agencies. Requires a Top Secret clearance and eight years of experience in threat intelligence.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of cyber threat intelligence methodologies and intelligence lifecycle management
  • Deep understanding of threat actors, cybercrime ecosystems, nation-state operations, malware, ransomware, vulnerabilities, and threat hunting concepts
  • Experience assessing cyber risk, identifying trends, and developing actionable intelligence products
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of AI-enabled tools and technologies relevant to the role
  • Ability to independently conduct complex intelligence analysis and investigations
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including experience briefing executive audiences
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and provide strategic intelligence guidance
  • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and mentorship capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, International Affairs, Criminal Justice, or a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, intelligence analysis, cybersecurity, incident response, threat hunting, or related disciplines
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS/SCI) security clearance
  • Travel Required: Up to 10% International Travel
  • This is a hybrid position that reports to Reston, VA headquarters (up to four days per week in office)
  • Employees are expected to maintain a professional work environment and be able to perform the essential functions of the role

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting financial services, critical infrastructure, government, military, intelligence, or cybersecurity organizations
  • Experience leading intelligence projects and presenting to executive audiences
  • Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA)
  • GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI)
  • GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • SANS/GIAC certifications or equivalent threat intelligence certifications
  • Certified Ethical Hacker
