Job Summary
Threat Analyst (Philippines Remote) - Monitor and process phishing threats reported by customers; perform initial assessment of suspicious emails to determine threat level; initiate threat analysis cases and escalate to Sr. Threat Analysis; assist Senior Threat Analysts during investigations; maintain ownership of customer cases including updates and communications; assist in production of monthly customer reports; maintain skills via conferences/training; assist with product updates, backups, and troubleshooting; respond to customer requests via ticketing and other channels; shift 8pm–4am, Mon to Fri; requires strong critical thinking, knowledge of networking, Windows operating systems, Exchange and Office 365, antivirus, and malware detection tools; expected to contribute to investigations and reporting and support ongoing security operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years general security experience or education
- Experience in phishing and malware analysis
- Industry recognized certifications in Malware Analysis and Incident Response preferred
- 2-4 Year Degree in Computer Science or field experience preferred
