Job Summary
Oversee the threading line to safely and efficiently produce products meeting STL, API, and customer requirements while ensuring workstations operate smoothly to avoid production stops. Monitor daily operations, enforce safety practices, and hold talks with technicians regarding workloads, quality objectives, and hazards. Facilitate communication between line workers and leadership, manage resources to meet production goals, and train new or existing employees on all positions. Identify improvement opportunities, maintain accurate production and inspection records, and ensure work areas remain clean and organized. Represent departmental interests as a liaison between Management, Maintenance, Warehouse, QA, and QC.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have at least three years' experience working in similar production line
- Must be able to safely lift and load 50lbs
- Must be able to work outside in a variety of conditions
- Candidates must be able to tolerate any climate
- Must be flexible with shift and hours
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must have safety as a priority
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using while numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Must be computer literate and able to work with programs such as Word, Excel, etc.
- Must be able to learn and use HP programs such as e-mail, ERP system, etc.
