Job Summary
Thoracic Pathology Physician position in an academic clinical track at UPMC Shadyside/Pittsburg, collaborating with a large division of pathologists. Responsibilities include teaching and sign-out duties, translational research leveraging molecular/genomic and digital pathology laboratories, and participation in a Thoracic Pathology Center of Excellence with exposure to neoplastic and non-neoplastic lung diseases, including telepathology and a one-year ACGME Thoracic Fellowship. Board-certified in Anatomic Pathology with thoracic pathology interest and PA medical licensure eligibility are required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an M.D. and Board certified in Anatomic Pathology with specialty training and academic interest in thoracic pathology
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania is required
- A record of and commitment to scholarly activities and publications
