Job Summary
Operate both sitdown and/or standup forklift in a warehouse setting to move products to outbound trailers, load trailers using pick tickets with balanced loads, and haul/put away production as needed. Maintain accurate inventory using RF scanners, follow FIFO, and adhere to locator systems. Ensure compliance with Food Safety policies and regulatory criteria (SQF code, GMP, FSMA) and related preventive controls and safety programs. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and forklift certification; role is onsite on the third shift with hourly pay of $25.65 and potential shift differential. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification
- Able to read, write and perform basic math tasks
- Must be forklift certified by Ventura Foods
- Ability to operate sitdown and/or standup forklift
- Ability to use RF scanners
- Knowledge of FIFO and inventory procedures
- Commitment to Food Safety policies (SQF, FSMA, GMP) and safety programs
