Job Summary
Sweep, dust, damp mop, vacuum, extract carpets, strip and wax floors, remove trash, recycle, clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms, polish entryway areas, wash windows, clear snow and ice, and clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, glass, counters, chalkboards, whiteboards, blinds, and light fixtures. Perform any additional duties as directed by the custodial supervisor. This physically demanding, fast-paced role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, extensive walking and standing, and the ability to work in varying temperatures. The position offers optional daily pay and reports to the Chad Reese/Alex Miller team.
Required Qualifications
- Background check required
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull
- The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 25 pound on a frequent basis, up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Extensive walking and standing for the duration of the shift
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks with production and service time frames as established by the company
- Ability to work with various temperatures extreme from hot to cold
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- High school degree preferred, but not required
- Previous cleaning experience a plus
- Excellent work history
- Team focused approach requiring ability to work with others and take direction
- Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail
