Job Summary
Oversee store operations in the absence of the Store Director and Assistant Store Director, managing the total store operation with a focus on customer service, training, hiring coordination, and merchandising. Lead late-shift activities, supervise employees, initiate corrective actions, and coordinate with the ASD to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Responsible for ordering, receiving, storing, pricing, stocking, merchandising, and implementing company policies; trains Head Clerks for potential promotion to Third Person in Charge; maintain a safe, efficient store environment and support the Store Director in meeting key metrics. Requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work flexible hours and operate independently or as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Education Level: High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Four or more years retail experience required
- Retail grocery experience preferred
- Proficient customer service and supervisory skills
- Strong understanding of overall store operations
