Job Summary
Coordinate third party software implementation, configuration, and integration across B&H's IT infrastructure, including Oracle, SAP, and Baan systems. Provide technical support to internal users, diagnose system issues, and ensure constant availability of all software programs. Collaborate with vendors and multiple departments to gather requirements, manage license agreements, and oversee major software updates and maintenance. Develop conversion plans, test protocols, and system documentation while training users on new functionality. Document all resolutions in the Incident Monitor system and escalate complex requests beyond the Level 3 Admin's skill set. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vendor capabilities and recent software changes to support business needs.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience using major Windows software programs
- Integration of UNIX platform with third party software
- Large scale software implementation and configuration
- High level understanding software integration concepts
- Excellent communication skills to interpret complex concepts to vendors and software users
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, resourceful, and efficient research skills
- Professional phone demeanor
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with B&H workflow, policies and procedures, especially B&H IT structure – who to refer to for various issues
