Job Summary

Design, maintain, and continuously improve integrated Operational Resilience and Third-Party & Intragroup Risk Management frameworks across ING globally. Translate regulatory requirements such as DORA and EBA guidelines into practical, implementable components and guidance templates. Provide high-quality advisory to countries, HUBs, and stakeholders on framework interpretation, data quality, and complex control implementation questions. Act as a bridge between framework owners, delivery teams, and country stakeholders to ensure alignment between design and execution practices. Embed frameworks into end-to-end operational processes, drive standardization efforts, and support the adoption of automation and data-driven approaches. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the regulatory landscape and industry best practices to ensure frameworks align with ING's risk appetite and external expectations.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong background of 3+ years in Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, TIPM / Third‐Party Risk, and related NFR domains
  • Proven experience in risk and control management, framework design/ implementation
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, multi‐country stakeholder landscapes
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in case of not clear demarcation (regarding the roles and responsibilities)
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions
  • Strong analytical mindset with focus on quality, consistency and simplification
  • Expert advisory mindset, becoming trusted partner for stakeholders
  • Pro-active and improvement driven, actively identifying and implementing enhancements
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong communicator, able to explain complex topics clearly
  • Negotiation skills and ability to mitigate the potential escalations to achieve a constructive flow of further communication leading to clear outcome
  • Knowledge of EBA Guidelines, DORA, Third Party Risk Management, KYS or supplier governance
  • Experience with working in a global environment including the ability to understand the local teams and their regulatory requirements in order to build the credibility as the global SME (listening, local regulatory input, practical guidance, transparent decisions, examples, community approach)
  • Understanding of Third-party risk management, outsourcing risk management, supplier governance and Intragroup service governance
  • Proven experience in risk and control management, framework design (including Control Standard / implementation- balanced judgement
