Job Summary
Support and implement joined-up, global supply chain strategies across multiple spend categories, geographies, and business areas. Own and develop key strategic suppliers, identifying new partners and managing performance to align with cost and risk appetites. Deliver proactive plans to ensure efficient delivery while undertaking contract and financial signing authority within delegated levels. Build networks across the supply market to develop deep insights, manage stakeholder strategies, and design solutions that challenge business requirements. Perform end-to-end third-party risk assessments for onboarding and ongoing monitoring. Requires degree-level education, six years of experience, and knowledge of contract law. Hours are 45. Closing date is 03/09/2026.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of the supply chain market across a variety of third party suppliers
- Demonstrable track record of successfully implementing projects and continuous improvement
- Education to a degree level or equivalent
- Experience of contributing to strategic and business critical supplier relationships and contracts to deliver sustainable improvements
- Knowledge of contract law and legal knowledge relevant to supply chain
- Experience of applying supply chain skills and techniques to positively disrupt business strategy and outcomes
- A proven track record in taking ownership for resolving issues within a supply chain services environment
- Experience of contributing to the design and implementation of a variety of supply chain models, such as offshore, outsourcing, utility and make versus buy
- Ability to manage the stakeholders
- End-to-end third-party risk assessments for onboarding and ongoing monitoring
- Minimum of 6 years of experience
