Job Summary
Investigate, evaluate, and resolve third-party liability claims involving bodily injury, property damage, commercial auto, trucking, and business insurance policies; handle litigated claims with defense counsel, mediators, and TPAs; review police reports, medical records, and legal documents to determine liability and settlement exposure; evaluate reserves and settlement strategies; negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys; maintain detailed electronic claim documentation; collaborate with internal teams on strategy and litigation management; attend mediations, hearings, depositions, and trials as needed; manage multiple active claims with timely follow-up.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience handling third-party liability claims, bodily injury claims, and property damage claims
- Experience handling litigated claims and working directly with attorneys, mediators, and legal teams
- Experience managing commercial auto, trucking, transportation, or business liability claims
