Job Summary
Supervise hourly staff in day-to-day activities, including training, directing work, and resolving guest complaints. Manage store operations by opening and closing the location, handling after-hours alarm calls, and maintaining security protocols. Direct team members through scheduling, task assignment, and performance accountability while ensuring compliance with safety and loss prevention standards. Review till reconciliations, assist with inventory preparation, and address discrepancies in receiving paperwork. Resolve guest concerns with courtesy and escalate issues to management as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience
- Completion of the MIT program
- Associate degree or higher
- Valid TABC Beverage Sellers Permit
- Valid Food Handlers or Food Managers Permit
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information from emails, business journals, and governmental regulations
- Ability to effectively write for business purposes
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, team members, and support staff
- Bilingual skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in both whole numbers and in fractions and decimals
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages
- Ability to solve practical workplace issues and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or electronic form
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Unlimited or minimally limited availability during all business hours
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend regularly
- Ability to use arms, hands, and fingers to feel, handle, reach, and lift
- Ability to climb and balance
- Ability to talk and hear
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds or more occasionally
- Ability to push and/or pull 50-100 pounds or more occasionally
- Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Age of 21 or older
