Job Summary
Maintain ship engines and machinery, perform engine room watches, update the PMS, and manage spare inventory under the guidance of the Chief Engineer. Knowledge of marine engineering systems, emergency procedures, risk assessment, and troubleshooting is required, as well as proficiency in watchkeeping, proactive maintenance, and clear communication to ensure safe, efficient operations onboard. Required Qualifications
- Experience in engine room watchkeeping
- Maintenance planning and execution
- Familiarity with PMS (Planned Maintenance System)
