Job Summary
Thigh Debone Labor responsible for visually inspecting boneless thigh meat and removing bones, cartilage, bruises, and blood spots, rotating along the production line and placing inspected thigh on a moving conveyor. Requires performing repetitive motions with hands and shoulders, using an electric knife, and standing for the entire shift. Work environment is cold, wet, dry, and slippery, with flexible hours including weekends; duties may include other tasks as assigned and following established protocols with or without reasonable accommodation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Willingness to stand for an entire shift (approximately 48 1/2 inches from the floor)
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and shoulders
- Must be able to visually inspect thigh meat for bones, cartilage, bruises, and blood spots
- Ability to remove bones from thigh per management protocol
- Ability to work in a cold, wet, dry, and slippery work environment
- Flexibility to work weekends and varying shifts
- Ability to work with an electric knife
- Follow all safety and protocol requirements as established by management
- Background checks as part of employment process
