Job Summary
Coordinate and carry out Finish Mill production works while building process rules to ensure high quality through correct model setups of profile contour and flatness control. Fulfill and maintain profile and flatness control functions, improving mathematical models for roll thermal, wear, CVC control, and automatic flatness management. Analyze root causes of rolling process problems such as cobble, wedge, and camber to prevent defects, controlling quality indexes for thickness profile and flatness across specific steel grades. Check equipment precision and lower energy consumption through technical measures. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Computer fields, 10+ years in wide Hot Strip Rolling Mill experience, 5+ years in thickness profile and flatness control, C++ programming capability, and proficiency in English and Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above with the academic backgrounds of Mechanical, Materials or Computer, etc.
- A certain capability of computer programming with C++ etc.
- At least 10 years working experience in rolling process in wide Hot Strip Rolling Mill
- At least 5 years working experience in thickness profile and flatness control in wide Sot Strip Mill
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communications
Desired Qualifications
- preferred to in silicon steel production
- Prefer to proficient English in reading, listening , speaking and writing
