Job Summary
Analyze and document existing EMC measurement processes in the vehicle test hall while researching automation technologies and AI-supported data analysis methods. Develop Python-based tools to automate recurring measurement and analysis processes, controlling and integrating measuring equipment, test benches, and vehicle components via suitable interfaces. Create scripts for measurement data acquisition, storage, preprocessing, and visualization, and investigate AI applications to identify anomalies, patterns, or recurring interference events in EMC data. Document developed solutions and results achieved throughout the project.
Required Qualifications
- Ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical discipline
- Basic knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) or high-frequency engineering
- Interest in artificial intelligence, data analytics, and automation
- You approach tasks independently and demonstrate a careful and structured way of working
- Fluent German and good English language skills (minimum C1 and B2 level)
Desired Qualifications
- Programming skills in Python or a comparable programming language
- Basic understanding of software development concepts, such as Git, modular programming, or software testing
- Basic knowledge of instrument control, test automation, or laboratory automation
- Initial hands-on experience in high-frequency engineering or electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
