Job Summary
Thermoforming Machine Operator on 1st shift responsible for learning and performing the startup/shutdown and operation of thermoforming equipment, performing demolding and load procedures, reading prints, logging tasks in the ERP system, maintaining workstation organization, and ensuring safety and quality standards. The role includes basic process understanding, quality checks on finished parts, and opportunities to contribute to efficiency improvements while working in a family-oriented manufacturing environment. Training covers machine operation across stations, daily inventory transfers, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. independently
- Climb, lift, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- 1st Shift – 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (M-F)
- Learn to_startup_shut_down_run_assigned_manufacturing_processing_equipment
- Read prints/documents
- Operate machines at a rate to meet production requirements while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Basic understanding of demolding and load up procedures
- Develop understanding of product knowledge to perform quality checks on parts
