Thermal Field Service Technician

The Thermal Field Service Technician is responsible for the startup, commissioning, and scheduled or emergency service on data center cooling systems. Techs will be provided with the appropriate training certification, as part of their ongoing development. However, the technician will be expected to meet the technical requirements of the position throughout their progression of the Vertiv Certification program. The Field Service Technician is primarily responsible to support products and services within our Thermal product family. This is an entry level position that will support more experienced technician on repairs and preventative maintenance duties. Preventative maintenance duties will include taking unit readings and taking measurements of temperature, voltages and pressures and controller diagnostics. The Field Service Technician will execute preventative maintenance, such as coil cleaning, filter changes, fluid samples and fluid remediation. The employee must past the EPA the EPA608 license within 6 months of their hire date. The Field Service Technician is required to establish, promote and maintain excellent rapport with all customers, co-workers, sales representatives, and others as appropriate.
