Job Summary
Lead full-process thermal management project development from requirement definition through mass production delivery. Decompose Vehicle Technical Specifications into verifiable Subsystem Technical Specifications and define performance indicators for subsystems. Independently conduct 1D system-level and 3D CFD thermal simulations, build models, optimize parameters, and propose design improvements based on analysis. Control project milestones, formulate development plans, track progress, and coordinate technical issues to ensure on-time delivery. Collaborate with testing teams to validate simulation data against physical tests and optimize designs accordingly. Organize and archive technical documents, simulation reports, and project deliverables with standardization. Requires 5+ years in automotive thermal management and proficiency in AMESim, GT-SUITE, STAR-CCM+, and Fluent.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Thermal and Power Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Refrigeration & Cryogenic Engineering, HVAC or related thermal management majors
- At least 5 years of experience in automotive thermal management project development
- familiar with full thermal development process
- candidates with complete project delivery experience
- Proficient in performance attributes of thermal management systems and components
- capable of independently decomposing VTS
