Job Summary
Therapy Technician I/II assists with restoring customers' functioning under direct supervision of a staff therapist across PT, OT, SLP, ABA, and MT; participates in infection control, equipment training, and safety programs; two levels provide progressive responsibility; on-site in Anchorage, AK; requires high school diploma/GED and BLS; Technician II adds an associate degree or related experience plus additional certifications; Alaska Native preference in hiring; health-import immunization requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
- Associates Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience (Therapy Technician II)
- Physical Therapy Technician/Aide Certification through the American Medical Certification Association (for Technician II)
- Certified Rehabilitation Therapy Technician through the American Education Certification Association (for Technician II)
- Alaska Native/American Indian Preference in Employment
- Compliance with Employee Health Procedure and immunization requirements (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, T-dap, COVID-19)
