Job Summary
Therapy Services Tech I assists in transporting, preparing, positioning and supporting patients and therapists across physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Performs office and clerical duties to ensure efficient therapy department operations; assists with patient care during treatments, equipment setup, wound care, dressing, and ambulation support; maintains cleanliness and inventory, supports calibration/maintenance of equipment, and participates in peer feedback. Must meet basic educational/experience requirements and obtain/maintain BLS certification; role supports high-quality health care services for Tahoe Forest Hospital’s communities.
Required Qualifications
- BLS certification required upon hire; enrollment in Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) BLS curriculum within 3 months of hire
- Associates degree preferred (related field)
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology
