Job Summary
Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living communities, delivering sessions that support mobility, independence, and functional longevity. Document care effectively within the FOX EMR system and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PTs, SLPs, and fitness specialists. Incorporate telehealth and virtual care components to extend access and maintain continuity. Drive to patient homes and communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls model, providing moderate to maximum assistance with transfers and bed mobility. Full-time, part-time, and PRN roles available with medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Basic computer and EMR proficiency
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including: Providing moderate to maximum assistance with patient transfers and bed mobility
- Must be able to drive to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls model
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with telehealth and other forms of virtual care
