Job Summary
Lead and oversee the therapy department, focusing on performance, staffing, compliance, and high-quality service delivery. Supervise therapists and assistants, ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory alignment, identify and address staffing and compliance risks, drive recruitment and scheduling to meet member needs, and set clear expectations for accountability and service quality. Office-based role with standard business hours, delivering therapy services primarily in home and community-based settings (often afternoons, evenings, and some weekends). Requires independent decision-making, proactive problem-solving, and ability to balance leadership with department outcomes; may provide limited support beyond leadership in rare situations.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) preferred
- supervisory/leadership experience preferred
- experience in I/DD or similar service-based environment preferred
- strong documentation, compliance, and problem-solving skills
