Job Summary
Therapy Program Director overseeing therapy operations at a senior living facility, blending clinical oversight with administrative leadership. Responsibilities include leading therapy staff and clinic operations, coordinating scheduling and workflow, ensuring accurate intake and screening of residents including insurance and referrals, maintaining regulatory-compliance and HIPAA standards, serving as liaison with residents and families, performing direct resident care within licensure scope as needed, and promoting accountability, collaboration, and clinical excellence. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in PT/OT (or equivalent), Florida licensure, and possess strong leadership and communication skills to manage therapy staff and ensure high-quality resident care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in physical or occupational therapy (PT/OT) or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current valid and unencumbered state license as PT, OT, PTA or COTA
- Current licensure in the state of Florida (required)
- Ability to be accredited by all insurance payers
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage clinical staff and maintain high service standards
