Job Summary
Front desk role in a clinic handling patient check-in/out, HIPAA/OSHA/compliance adherence, and fraud-avoidance duties. Responsibilities include Phreesia appointment validations, pre-registration, eligibility checks, insurance and demographic data collection, greeting and registering patients, handling phone calls and messages, and facilitating provider workflow and patient needs in a Monday–Friday office setting. Requires experience in healthcare, knowledge of medical office procedures and computer systems, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff in a clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical office procedures
- knowledge of computer systems and applications
- Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation
- Skills in operating business office machines
- Skills in answering the telephone in a professional manner
- Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instruction
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with patients, employees and the public
