Therapy Development Specialist - (Pacific Northwest)

Job Summary

Drive downstream execution for U.S. marketing and Venus Thromboembolism Education (VTE) initiatives by acting as a regional VTE care path expert and key point of contact within a defined sales region. Manage account education initiatives throughout the project lifecycle, develop and execute clinical care path strategies, and identify key opinion leaders to optimize therapy awareness. Represent the company at local tradeshows and conferences, foster relationships with field sales leaders and hospital marketing teams, and collect competitive intelligence to adapt regional strategies. Adhere to the Company's Quality Management System and security regulations while working in a general remote environment with extensive business travel.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of progressive responsibilities and experience in managing program development, quality initiatives, and LEAN Sigma engagements in the hospital or medical device field
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience to the Bachelor's degree and 5+ years requirement
  • Valid driver's license for state of residency
  • Active vehicle insurance policy
  • Ability to operate a moving vehicle
  • Willingness & ability to conduct company business outside of the typical Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, work-schedule

Desired Qualifications

  • BSN/ RN
  • Experience as a PERT, VTE or Stroke Coordinator
  • Experience working in ED, ICU, Pulmonology, or a related practice area
  • 3+ years of experience in program development, clinical quality improvement, and business to business (B2B) or field marketing
  • Experience developing and executing strategic customer initiatives
  • Program Management experience
  • LEAN Sigma experience
  • Strong clinical background
  • Sound decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to speak up when important information or questions must be raised
  • Ability to take action when issues must be addressed
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Ability to routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work in an environment of often competing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
